Step By Step - Lash Lift

We have recently started offering lash lifts at The Venue and they have been so popular! This treatment is a great alternative to lash extensions or if you are just looking to improve the strength and appearance of your lashes.
As it's a relatively new treatment we have a lot of questions on the procedure and asking how it works, and if in fact it does work. We've put together a quick video to show you exactly what happens during a lash lift so you can see the results for yourself.

Step 1 - Cleanse eyelashes to ensure no make up or oils are on them, the bottom lashes are taped down to ensure they aren't accidentally lifted with the top ones. Step 2 - Shields are cut to size and applied close to the lash line, these feel a little funny on but are not painful at all. Step 3 - Lashes are attached to the shield, this bit is the most fiddly bit as each lash needs to be glued individually with no crossing over or clumps. Step 4 - The bright pink perming solution is applied for 12 minutes. Step 5 - The bright blue setting solution is applied for 12 minutes. Step 6 - Tint is applied if required, if bottom lashes need tinting as well the tape is adjusted. Step 7 - Lashes are cleansed and removed from shields, a nourishing conditioning lotion is applied.
A lash lift treatment takes around 45 minutes, it will leave your natural lashes looking longer, thicker and stronger.
